Session Details Page

The session details page allows you to:

  • Start and stop your work session
  • Enter vehicle information and session notes
  • View Staff team members
  • View jobs and get directions to the job location
  • View and update the status of jobs

Work session status (ready)

The Status section is where you start/stop the session and view status information about the session.

Meaning of various statuses:

  • ready: The session is ready to be started.
  • started: The session has been started / resumed (time and possibly location are being tracked).
  • stopped: The session has been stopped / paused.
  • finished: The session has been finished / ended.

When the button is labeled start, tapping it will mark the session as started and stop will mark it stopped.

Work session status (started)

When the work session is started, the session will begin to recieve GPS location updates. The Last Updated field shows you the last time GPS location data was received. The number in parenthesis is how many location points have been received for that session.

Tapping on Start will open the TempoRush Tracker app and start the work session. The app will begin tracking your location via your device’s GPS.

When tracking, the TempoRush Mobile apps Open App button will display the DST and what session it is tracking.

The Open App button will take you to the currently tracking work session. otherwise you can tap the back button to return to the work session details page.

DST stands for Delivered, Skipped and Time-since:

  • Delivered: The number of times since starting the session the app has uploaded the device’s location.
  • Skipped: The number of times the app has skipped uploading the device’s location (due to inactivity).
  • Time-since: Time elapsed since the last location update was sent.

Work session job section

  1. Route: Opens a map with GPS navigation to each job location.
  2. Job Status: When finished with the job, tap on this button to open up the job completion form (see Completing a Job section).
  3. Driving Directions: Click to get driving directions to a that job location.
  4. Call Them: Click to directly call the client.
  5. Staff Notes: Special info for staff about the job (visible only to staff)
  6. Job Notes: Notes/instructions from the office about the job/location (visible to staff and customer).

When finished with a job, tap on the status button for the job. This will open the job completion form.

Here you will enter:

  • The completion status of the job (usually done but could be different).
  • The payment method the client used to pay you.
  • The amount of payment you collected.
  • Any notes related to the job.

Hit “Save” to complete the job, you can now move on to the next job.

Make sure all jobs have been completed before ending the work session.

Work session mileage

  1. Vehicle Mileage: At the start of the session, select the vehicle to be used and the starting mileage. At the end of the session you will fill in the ending mileage. Before moving, make sure to enter the starting mileage.
  2. Work Session Notes: At the end of the session, or in-between, add any notes related to the work session, such as so-and-so worker clocked out early, etc.
  3. Finish Work Session: Click to end the work session. Unlike stopped status this status assumes you are not planning restart the session and it is ready to be analyzed by the backoffice.
