Work Sessions Page
The work sessions page allows you to:
- View all work sessions.
- Create new work sessions.
- Assign jobs and workers to work sessions.
1. Date Filter
Section titled “1. Date Filter”Select a date to filter the work sessions by that date.
2. Status / User Filter
Section titled “2. Status / User Filter”Select a status or user to filter the work sessions by that status or user.
3. Create Work Session
Section titled “3. Create Work Session”Create a new work session by selecting the session type, group and number of sessions to create.
4. Session Management
Section titled “4. Session Management”The buttons in this group are for manipulating work sessions.
- Assign Mode: Opens up the session assignment mode.
- Drag & Drop Mode: Allows you to drag and drop jobs and workers between sessions (while in Assign Mode).
- Map Mode: Opens up a map displaying where the jobs are located and what session they are currently part of (see Map Mode).
- Assign Users / Make Ready: This button automatically assigns the user of each session and marks the session as ready.
- Session Action Buttons:
- Map: Opens the map showing the session job locations.
- Analyze: Opens the analysis page for the work session (see Session Analysis).
- Archive: Archives the session, this will turn the GPS points into a single file and lock the session.
- Delete: Deletes the session. Removing any GPS data that was connected to it.
- Session Stats: Information about session time and value.
Map Mode
Section titled “Map Mode”Map mode allows you to view the location of jobs on a map to determine the best grouping of jobs for a work session.
The legend on the upper left corner displays groupings of jobs by color. Clicking on a job will open a callout that allows you to:
- View the location on google maps
- View the service location
- View the job entry
Assign Mode
Section titled “Assign Mode”Clicking on the “Assign” button under the “Manage Work Sessions” group will take you into assignment mode. Here you can assign jobs and workers to work sessions.
At the top of the screen is the currently unassigned jobs:
1. Bulk Assignment
Section titled “1. Bulk Assignment”Clicking the checkboxes on the left side of the assignments will select multiple jobs. You can then use the bulk assign dropdown to assign all selected sessions to a work session.
2. Job Information
Section titled “2. Job Information”This section contains several statistics relating to that service location / job. Lets break it down:
- Job Count: The number of jobs the service location has completed successfully (job done).
- Duration: [Median Job Duration] / [Minimum Job Duration] <=> [Maximum Job Duration]
- Revenue: The median revenue and the revenue per worker-hour on job.
- Margin: COMING SOON
- Scheduling: Shows the frequency of the job, the last time a job was done and how many days ago that was.
3. Single Assignment
Section titled “3. Single Assignment”Assign a single job to a work session. Open the dropdown and select the work session you want to assign the job to.
4. Job Action buttons
Section titled “4. Job Action buttons”You can edit / delete a job using the corresponding button.
1. Routing Info
Section titled “1. Routing Info”Routing info allows you to see the route, the distance of the route and the total travel time between routes.
2. Expanded View
Section titled “2. Expanded View”Clicking this will open expanded view for the assigned jobs with more detailed information including:
- Time preference
- Worker preference
- Job Information
- Job travel details
- Service location contact info
3. Auto-Order Jobs
Section titled “3. Auto-Order Jobs”This button will automatically order the jobs in the session based on location deltas.
4. Assigned Jobs
Section titled “4. Assigned Jobs”List of all jobs in the session ordered sequetially by expected completion.
5. Travel details
Section titled “5. Travel details”This shows job duration information and the time it will take to return to the home location.
6. Assigned Workers
Section titled “6. Assigned Workers”This shows the workers assigned to the work session.
Drag & Drop
Section titled “Drag & Drop”Click the Drag & Drop mode icon (in the session management group). This will allow you to drag jobs and workers between sessions. Click and drag any worker or assigned job to move them to any other session.
